The time allocated for each topic is about 15 days and the dates indicated are the last date for the topic to be completed and assignment submitted. If you are late, please do not submit the assignment. Students will be graded on the basis of their assignments and tests. However, we have done away with the grading system and this removes the stress and makes the learning much more fun.

The Social Forum at Yahoo!Groups is for your gossip, chat, small notes and other group activities that your mentor can decide. You have to be subscribed to this forum and should be getting mails, else you will miss out on whats happening in class.
You need to click on the button on left-top called Jyotisa under Forums>>PJC Year-1 and will find the forums listed. Click on Subscribe and you will start receiving emails form this forum.This is also for technical Jyotish questions or for seeking Answers from Pt. Sanjay Rath.
Every forum has various ‘Discussion Threads’. You can optionally subscribe to individual threads to get the emails in your box. You can choose to ‘Subscribe’ or ‘Unsubscribe’ from any thread when you want emails or don’t want emails from that thread. This is one area you need to be glued to and its smart to subscribe to everything. Simply press the button ‘New Topic Subscribe’ and you are good to go.

Library is where you will find some nice books to download and keep. Any important book, archive or paper you want to share with everyone goes here. Do check this out once in a while. You will find this button on the top or when you go to the PJC Year-1 Frontpage.
