वैदिक ज्योतिष में, जन्म कुंडली भाव चक्र (संस्कृत: चक्र, ‘पहिया’) है। भाव चक्र जीवन का संपूर्ण 360° चक्र है, जो भावों में विभाजित है, और चक्र में प्रभावों को क्रियान्वित करने के हमारे तरीके का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। प्रत्येक भाव के साथ कारक (संस्कृत: कारक, ‘संकेतक’) ग्रह सम्बद्ध होते हैं, जो किसी विशेष भाव की व्याख्या को परिवर्तित कर सकते हैं।
