Satya Jyotish 2026 Admission

ॐ पराशर ऋषये नमः

Objective

The Parashara Jyotish Course (PJC) will be taught in the tradition of Puri, India, and will include spiritual instruction to develop the mind to understand the entire subject. The student will develop a deep understanding of Vedic astrology and master all the verses of the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS). The course primarily covers the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, the most widely available astrological text. The various chapters are grouped into 28 topics for certification as a Jyotish Pandit, to be completed over four years.

Description

The course begins on the third Thursday of January for each academic year, and registration for the course has already begun in 2025. The course is based on recordings of live classes given by the course  creator,  Pandit Sanjay Rath, over a period of five years. For an annual fee, students can access the website with these recordings based on their academic year. This access will be available for two years after enrollment and can be renewed for a small fee thereafter.

Devguru Brihaspati Kendra has opened admissions for a new batch of students to begin its prestigious Satya Jyotish course from the 2026 academic year. Unlike other colleges, where application is general, DBC requires that a student be accepted by an Upadhyaya to learn Vedanga Jyotish. The Upadhyayas for the 2026 batch of students will be Dr. Ritu Khurana, Sh. Manoj Kumar Gupta, Sh. Satish Verma, and Sh. Sanjay Sharma, respectively, who will teach under the comprehensive guidance of Jyotish Guru Pandit Sanjay Rath (the course creator) . Tutorials/webinars will be held approximately four times a month or more, as required. Some tutorials may also be conducted by the Upadhyaya, depending on availability.

There will also be a contact class of at least 10 days each year. Attendance at both tutorial and contact classes is optional. The annual contact class will be held in India.

More information is available on the PJC 2026 batch website, Satya Jyotish. Please include your mobile number and email address to contact the designated Upadhyaya and send your request to pjcsatya@gmail.com.

In this context, it is important to point out that a Jyotish Guru is a guide who will guide you throughout your course.
